Founded in 2019, Rustic Pictures Ltd. is a film production company specializing in script development and international co-production. It’s films have been recognized with awards such as the Golden Horse Award, the Taipei Film Award, and the Golden Harvest Award. They have been selected including the Busan International Film Festival, the CPH:DOX International Film Festival, and Hot Docs International Film Festival.

The name Rustic is inspired by the golden rice ears during the harvest season in the company’s hometown, symbolizing their commitment to continuous cultivation and shared achievements. Rustic also reflects the way of lifestyle of the three founders hope to convey though their films.
